As a supplier of Roll Up Safety Barriers, we know that they are important tools to protect your operators from dangerous moving machine parts or flying debris. Sourcing these roll up barriers requires some important information to ensure that the safety barrier will provide the protection you need and the longevity to last many years.
- Dimensions - You need to know a few critical dimensions. Dimension number one is the roll up safety barriers width. That is the width of the area that you need to to cover. Dimension two is the extended height of the cover. This dimension is the height of the guard when it is fully unrolled.
- Duty Cycle - Make sure you calculate the number of cycles that the guard will have to endure in an hour, day, and year. This is important as the roll up cylinder has to be designed accordingly. If the duty cycle is not properly set, then the roll up barrier could prematurely wear out.
- Material - The material selection is very important, as a customer, you do not need to know what material to choose. We as the supplier will help you with that. You will simply need to inform us what enviroment the roll up barrier is being used in. Typical applications require a 18 oz vinyl which will provide ample protection from flying debris. For applications where excessive heat is present, then a Kevlar material will be used.
